So, once you have one Mikaelson in your life they're bound to multiply. There's Hayley and Klaus and now there's Elijah in the city as well. Aiden doesn't really know what to make of that addition -- especially here...where people can be different than how you've known them. Klaus and Hayley are certainly different. Hayley is a lot different and he wonders if she knows how much of a difference he can see in her. She's still Hayley but there's a splintered look in her that he catches sometimes. He won't mention it, it doesn't feel like his place.

But in any case, when coming from seeing Klaus after a fight of some sort which they tended to have quite often, he ran into Elijah. Aiden hadn't made a huge effort to greet Elijah and spend any time with him since his arrival. In truth, Elijah is the hardest Mikaelson to pin down sometimes to Aiden.

"Oh hey," he greeted now because it'd be rude not to especially when Elijah probably was not expecting him around here just now.
