While Val's busy gawking, Eric packs another snowball, aiming for his chest. He's not trying to pack the snow hard or anything, just enough for a little mischief--and he doesn't use his magic to augment his aim, either. Which means rather than center mass, he whiffs Val's shoulder lightly.

"Y'oughta pay attention if you don't want to get hit." The comment comes with a smirk before he goes back to whistling his shield.
