( it's strange to be with someone who knows her and has been through something with her that she doesn't remember. she glances back at kate as they walk, almost wanting to defend her idea of riding the elevator. it could be fun, kate! it might go fast or get stuck or maybe you'd find another friend.
but she holds her tongue and keeps walking, stopping in front of her door and opening it up. the apartment inside is much to lavish for her tastes but it's what they've given her and she's not going to turn that away.
