[ people tend to be a lot more honest if the question comes out of nowhere and, judging from the reaction she receives, natasha's first instinct is correct. of course, she could always break in to the room later and search it herself - it's a family thing, kate, don't take i personal - but if it is in the city (other than what clint has), she'll hear about it sooner rather than later, she's sure. there's absolutely nothing subtle about this girl and she doubts she'd be able to keep it a secret long.
