While he knew he could survive on his own, there's no denying that he's lost without the Port Mafia. Chuuya is a welcome sight, more so than many from his world would have been.
The question he poses, though, catches Akutagawa off guard. Though he's been here twice before, he only remembers one time, the time without Chuuya. Things were different now, namely the line, identical to Chuuya's own, centering his throat.
"I just re-arrived," he answers. "It seems I was gone for a few months." His brow furrows. "Were you here as well, sir?"
