It was a comfortable familiarity when he wrapped his arm around her, draping her in his cloak. Despite the fact that things still didn’t really feel okay being here, having him there with her was what mattered. The city would never make things easy for them, but being reunited had a calming affect. She knew she wasn’t alone now. Already she felt more determined.

“I am, yes. I only returned a few days ago. Everything we worked hard for is gone,” she told him quietly. It was disappointing, and she couldn’t hide that in the sound of her voice, but it wasn’t the first time she had to essentially start over. Jyn was used to doing more with less.
