In this case he was willing to do it if he had to (and if it is the law as others say, he will), but it was definitely a part of being on land that he didn't expect.

He does encourage Floyd to enjoy his land experiences however he wishes, so he's not entirely sure how to approach this subject. They tell each other everything, but-- "Will you be alright, Floyd? Do you have experience with humans like this?"

Jade already completely expects Floyd to fail quota. Not because he doesn't believe he could make it with humans, but because he was basically allergic to rules. Once the candy is popped in Floyd's mouth, Jade's gloved hand extends toward him in the 'give' motion. He expects the rest of the little package of candy. Who knows what they put in those things here?
