It was familiar and pleasant even if a bit odd still in some ways. Obi-Wan wanted to be close to Luke in every way he could be. Especially after that… heated “cuddling” session. He was still trying to think of Luke as the man he is here and not the child back home whom he only recently left. Perhaps he needed more of a reminder of that.

Though Obi-WAN’s face softens in sympathy at the clear implication of what happened to Luke’s friend. His arm tightening around him just a little in a show of support.

“I would like to hear more about your friends,” Obi-Wan decided. It would be nice to know more about the people who looked after Luke once he was gone. Friendship and having people to rely on was important, even for Jedi.
