Sure, he'll regret falling asleep in a tree or a fountain in the morning, but if there's too many steps (literally and figuratively) to get to his place? Ugh, he'd rather stay outside. Or maybe he can crash with Jade. Did they say there was something wrong with that? He can't remember.
The rest of the walk is relatively uneventful. Floyd's slipped his hands into his pockets by now and taken to hopping up onto planters and barricades to keep himself occupied. Unfortunately there's not much to jump on in a dark alleyway though and he frowns through the haze of his increasing body heat. Well... at least it's secluded here. Cold, dark, damp.

Floyd barely registers his brother's words. He simply steps in close again and dips his head down until his forehead rests on Jade's shoulder. If he had his tail right now, he'd wrap around him if he could. "... Ne, Jade," he mumbles. "I hate it here."
