[Eliot's pretty thoroughly distracted with thoughts of the dinner he's planning as he strolls up to the cluster of buildings that constitute the city's provided Dominant housing, his grocery bag dangling from his hand. He almost doesn't notice the figure leaning against the wall ahead, but after a moment he pries his attention away from pasta long enough to ascertain whether or not this person is in need of help. Judging by the paper gown, they're new, whoever they are, so he decides an introduction couldn't hurt; he'd definitely been in need of some friendly faces on his first day.
