A grand illusion, a mindscape, true containment... ( there were things that could stop and hold them, jean had been susceptible to them before but it took true strength ) We do still have our powers. There's a reason they left them even if they wish us to be compliant.

( her sigh is more frustrated. it was being kept in the dark that was irritating and if ororo was still here... did she have the truth of it or was it too much that none of them had yet found a way out. and why remove her, alter her memories and bring her back? why now give her this stripe? )

The line on me now feels like a statement, more than having my memories altered.
