Damian chooses to breeze past the fact that all of this is very new and unsettling.

He focuses instead on the weapons. "Because people who carry explosives without any knowledge of how they work tend to blow others up when they accidentally blow themselves up," Damian says wryly. "If you have no interest in a fight or in damage, why carry them?"

And Damian thinks knowing who is or is not willing to raise arms when needed is good information to have.
