Bruce wasn't expecting Joker to be turned on by being licked and bitten (by him, anyway), either. They're both having some surprises here.

That's probably a bad sign, at least in regards to where this is going; Bruce is enjoying the unfamiliar territory much less.

Which isn't to say not at all. The front row seat to watching Joker adapt to the setting, the environment, the information and then using that (even against him)? That's the kind of intellect he can appreciate.

That they're in a physical stalemate just fits the circumstance. His eyebrows go up ever so slightly as Joker speaks and then hover there.

Still with the mostly loosened muscle and even, steady, controlled breathing and pulse.

"I've always preferred a longer game." No growl, snarl or snap but the level of controlled, level and mild is... not natural for Bruce or Bat. And the fact that he's making real hard eyecontact is saying something.

Mostly in this moment 'let go' and acknowledgement that after 6 months here... he knows exactly where this ends. Now or later, he knows where it's eventually going.

Just like he knows back home what they do there is going to kill them both.
