Under any other circumstances, the sight of Batman getting progressively more peeved would be a source of satisfaction, even of pride. Joker loves to get under his skin, after all. Loves to push all those buttons that Bats so helpfully labels, PUSH ME.
But at this particular moment, when Joker is only just barely managing to suppress his laughter enough to speak? It's just more fuel on the comedy fire. And when Bats's rejoinder (if it can even be called that) arrives, Joker can't help but start laughing all over again.
"Oh," he manages, between hoots. "I'll do that." Christ, he's actually tearing up with this. He swipes at one eye, then the other, with the back of his thumb. "I'll send a text."
And in the meantime, they'll... what? Just keep on doing what they've been doing all this time?
Just now with. You know. A few raunchy texts worked in there between escapades. A couple Bat-nudes here and there, to spice up the hunt!
