Sounds like they actually have a lot in common. Different circumstances but yea, there are some similarities sure. And yea, it really shouldn't be as hard as Gokudera is making it on himself, Aki's not too proud to admit the teen's attractive. Would be more attractive if he wasn't such an argumentative little shit mind you but hey, no one's perfect apart from Miss Makima.

Aki wouldn't mind enforcing a little discipline in Gokudera, lord knows he does it enough back home with the teens in his care, though they'd be in trouble if they were ever caught and well, Aki is far too new to be thinking about getting into trouble over anything like that just yet. Maybe in the future though... If they don't kill each other before then.

Well, that certainly was a harrowing story. Aki just looks at them for a long while before saying anything and when he does, his tone is a little less harsh than before. "Sorry I stole your seat and got you all wet." Maybe it was knowing that they had been through that and with their contracted partner too that humbled Aki a little. It reminded him of Himeno, of Angel. He just hoped that being in the pool hadn't reminded them of that ordeal.
