Gokudera isn't against helping anyone when they need it, but tries to be considerate of others. The rocky start to his interaction with Aki has actually made him feel the same kind of amusement that fights back home with lawn-head and the baseball idiot, and even the stupid cow did. It's kind of fun. He wouldn't be caught dead admitting that, but he's glad this person isn't boring.

Considering he did it to himself and it was not painful -a little scary, though- he isn't bothered by being in water. Maybe because he isn't alone? Because he was busy reacting and thinking about how he was going to get Aki, lost in his childish sense of competition.

Maybe because he's been close to death plenty of times, and it's just something... natural. Maybe part of him hoped he'd wake up back home in Namimori.

He sighs and looks over at the apology, unable to be truly upset at Aki's consideration. "It's alright... hang on."

Gokudera gets up and moves to get a new drink, then sits back down and places it closer to Aki. "If anyone asks, I bought that for myself."
