Once again, Stede's words seem to be a cool balm to Edward's emotions. He forces a smile, however small, then follows Stede inside. If he's offering his help, Edward isn't going to turn him down. He's certainly not going to if it prolongs their time together in any way.

The steaming bath is alluring to say the least. Filled and hot in record time, no less, seemingly without a heat source beneath it to bring the water to temperature. There is so much about this world that Edward will never get used to. He hesitates slightly before stepping into it, gasping as the hot water stings his feet and legs and sobers him a bit. He doesn't sit yet, instead offering Stede a hand to join him.
