New City, New Me

In terms of situations she doesn't particularly want to be in, this whole bus tour probably ranks somewhere around a nine or ten on the bullshit meter. But it's not like she has much choice in the matter. The last thing she remembers before coming here is meeting up with everyone after the confrontation with Vecna. Compared to all of that, a little bus tour in an admittedly fucked up city should be a piece of cake.

Which is why she's currently doing her best to smile and nod and pretend she's hanging on every word falling from the mouth of the guy seated next to her. He's lucky enough to not have a hideous line down his throat, and it seems like he's been here for a while, which means that she should be able to sweet talk some information out of him.

That doesn't mean she's not keeping an eye on the door, though. She hadn't spotted any familiar faces when she'd gotten on, but that doesn't mean that can't change.

Stamp & Go

Well, this isn't ideal. It's not like she's a virgin, but there's a difference between sleeping with someone because she wants to and having to do it like this. Still, it would be nice to have some money if she's going to be stuck here.

For now, she's just waiting in line with her device in hand. She'd managed to swipe a map an a couple of the brochures, which she'd immediately stuffed into her pocket. Right now, she's standing a little off to the side, watching the people in front of her warily. Are there really this many people willing to go through this? It seems kind of ridiculous, but it also feels pretty on-brand for what little she knows about this place.

"Okay..."

Dress Me Up, Adore Me

Later, she's made her way into one of the clothing stores. Nancy can't even remember the last time she did something as normal and mundane as clothing shopping, so it's kind of nice to be here regardless of whether or not she's going to be able to buy anything.

It's a fun distraction, if nothing else. Things have all but gone to hell in Hawkins, but there's no way to get back there right now, so she's going to do her best to focus on the things she can control. Such as inspecting a rack of denim jackets as if her life depends on it.
