The feeling of déjà vu hangs heavily on Elle's mind when she comes walking through the door. She had just won her first major case, saving Brooke Wyndham and proving her innocence. Warren had been so kindly tossed to the curb. She had fashionably walked the stage, given one of her best speeches to her graduating Harvard class, and now she was here.
The initial examination should be startling. There should be concern when her graduation robes, cap, and clothing are taken and replaced with the paper gown.
It's not, though. It feels familiar. Strangely so. She only protests that her personal articles be treated with the utmost respect and care before she is sent off for Orientation.
Those familiar feelings continue as she rips small pieces from the paper gown to make it stylish. A tear here, a fold there, and even a loose paper bow in a low ponytail. She's done this before, same time and same place.
She turns her attention back to the pamphlet and other literature on the city, brushing her fingers over the simple black bracelet as she does. It's like a dream she's seen before, but surely this isn't real, right?

"Oh, I love craft time. It was a staple in the Delta Nu house. Crafting and using the creative part of your brain releases endorphins, which makes you happy. Also, when you exercise or see something that just sparks a little happiness."
She begins sorting through the materials, pausing briefly when Elle picks up a few pieces of lace. "Not very aerodynamic for a kite, but it will make it very fancy."
Turning to her partner, Elle smiles, holding out some supplies to them. "Which should we use for the main kite part? Personally, I would go with something bright. Maybe yellow?"

[ Elle will be re-acclamating herself to the city, with familiar faces and friends, and having her memories returning. She'll be found in various areas in both the Up and Down, sometimes knowing exactly where to go, and other times needing some directions and reminders.

[ Elle will be slowly regaining her memories of Duplicity, taking at least a week to fully recover. If we had close CR previously, I would have no problem tweaking this a bit as she would be more familiar with them.
