Harlow had been following Brooklyn for a while now, using every lesson from Conner and the other Summer court changelings to keep him from noticing too soon. The scents on the air are interesting but Brooklyn smells far better than anything else in the area. A mouth watering blend of dark chocolate and candied orange that makes him want to see just how far he can push the man.
Brooklyn is focused enough on his own quarry that it gives Harry enough time to figure out what he wants to do. More importantly, how he wants to do it. It would be easier with his violin but he can make do without it right now.
Harry walked quietly in his wake, waiting for the mortal ahead of both of them to turn a corner and then —
He moved quickly, darting forward to grab Brooklyn and shove him against the nearest wall, a delicious burst of adrenaline pumping in his veins. "Sloppy," He said, voice soft. "I thought you'd be better than this, Brooklyn."
