Juno can tell that effect he's had and it does something weird inside of him, makes him feel a little more responsible and makes it seem a little less casual.

Better to brush off those feelings, he thinks.

"Mars has shitty motels, and I've lived in shitty apartments pretty much my whole life." Juno squeezes Gavin's shoulder. "I'm not sure you can make it far enough to get back to my place." Plus, being at Gavin's makes it easier for Juno to leave when he's done.
