Quentin makes a face, curious, speculative. It's not bad. It's an interesting sort of tech, whatever it is, because all Quentin had to do was sort of think less, and there it was. But he hadn't thought with any specificity about what less might be. It could be a part of the game, or a part of Eggsy's influences on it, even if it's unconscious.

For his part, Quentin smiles. It's indulgent more than compassionate. He's a little tired of faking compassion for younger men. Eggsy's old enough to know what he's gotten himself into. Quentin may not like this situation, but he knows too.

He crosses to the wall of floggers and grabs the riding crop again. Now he's wearing gloves to go along with the suit. It's a very Tony Stark look, and Quentin sort of hates that? But there's something in Eggsy's eyes, and Quentin can work with that.
