"Both, I suppose, though I've never been in any danger of needing such a re-education. I don't typically find sex particularly compelling on it's own, but I'm not adverse to it. I've usually little reason to protest whatever the city's current scheme is for my own sake, though I've fought it a few times for others. It doesn't often go well," he shrugs slightly, a strange, open handed sort of thing that's more a what can you do gesture than a proper shoulder shrug.

"I didn't say it wasn't hell. Just not my hell of choice," there's a slight curve of a smile there, a clear bit of gallows humor. And then, perhaps a bit darker, "At least attendance isn't mandatory, yes?"
