[Tonight he regretted the more forgiving clothes native to this world. If he were in his usual leather and light armor, he would be more protected - but even then, Dorian was never shy to show off his own skin. So perhaps it wouldn't have mattered. As it was now, the black long-sleeved shirt with a v-neck cut left enough exposed that the creature had access to everything it could possibly want in the crook of his throat.

He didn't know when the man became the creature in his mind. Likely somewhere between the moment he had pinned Dorian to the wall and revealed the gleaming fangs in his mouth. Another flare of heat clenched in his gut at the southward sweep of Alucard's hand. It was too intimate, too personal, trapped alongside an impulse to flee inherent in all living animals. He could tell he was afraid now. He hated that fear, but even when it was mastered in his outward demeanor, it showed in other ways: the rabbit-fast pace of his pulse thrummed through his skin so hard he swore he could feel it when that unfairly beautiful mouth settled over a tender patch of skin.

A vampire. It was a term he'd heard once or twice, but so unknown and little studied, associated only alongside hunger demons based on who it was they possessed - the living or the dead.

Dorian's mouth was dry when he spoke. Time was running out.]

Are you going to eat me alive? Is that what this is? Foreplay for the main event?

[He needed to know whether he should begin fighting for his life, even if it was futile. He wouldn't simply roll over and endure his own death. One hand reached up and took a fistful of long gold hair, and on that he pulled, as if he could force Alucard's jaw to unlatch.]
