Noct nearly started before shooting Gladio a look that was half gratitude and half 'I can take care of this myself'. Astrals, he didn't know how glad he was to know that someone else on his side was here and Gladio of all people.

He certainly wasn't going to admit to the man's face that he felt oddly more secure now. The two Subs he was defending looked stricken, one of them trying to dissuade Noct from talking more. "No, it's okay we can just-"

"This CLOWN-" Noct pointed at the offending Dom, "said that these two can't defend themselves from accusations because they don't have a Dom to vouch for them. Which is, I repeat, bullshit."

He'd edged himself between the pair and the other man, staring him down with the most pissed off royal look he could muster. The Dom had shrunk back a little as someone of Gladio's size came near, but he clearly didn't like the challenge to his authority.
