As much as she'd hated it here before, Pidge wasn't terribly worried. She'd found a way to get by the last time, and there was no doubt that she'd be able to do the same. Sure, things were different this time around, but she was adaptable. Hadn't she proven that already?
He seemed pretty real, though. She couldn't remember a single time when the city had given people hallucinations of people from home. And honestly, she probably wasn't important enough for the people in charge to make an exception.
