Faith really thought he might blow it for a moment there but luckily he caught on before she would have to punch the pretty girl in the face just to keep him out of trouble. Plus she didn't figure he minded having her grab onto him and call him by a pet name.

But just because she had succeeded in pulling him away didn't mean she forgot all about the girls or forgot to keep track of them. Even as they walked away, she gave a quick glance over her shoulder to watch the girls swarming the ringleader. Not so many that she wouldn't have been able to handle herself but she didn't really want to get off on the wrong foot on her first day.

Focusing ahead as the distance grew between them and the girls, Faith started to relax though she didn't let go of the man too quickly. She might as well keep up the ruse for a bit longer and it wasn't like she minded. He was cute, she would give him that.

"Yeah, well, it wouldn't be the first time I've had to scare off a group of women looking for something." She replied smoothly before glancing sideways at him, smirking. He seemed pretty cheery about the whole thing. "But it's no problem. I figured it wouldn't hurt helping another newbie out."
