Fenris was quiet as Jonathan spoke. He took in the information, and deduced that this man, while nervous, was the type who wanted to be helpful which was something that Fenris needed. Even if he couldn't fight, he might prove to be someone who would be supportive. Anything helped, really.

He waved a hand briefly to dismiss the apologies when they were offered to him. "I do not need pity, or a remedy. I survive, as I always do, and there are others who have suffered far worse fates than I." He shoved his own pain aside in order to focus on what he thought was more important. "But I will keep it in mind."
