Jo grins, and nods, his own grin no more happy than her smile. She immediately reminds him of some of the people he knows.

And he is glad of it. Sad she is here, but glad to meet another kindred spirit.

"What is it people say? Oh yeah. Same." And at her grab of his hand, and her words, he frowns, then nods slowly. The fact that they messed with her mind does not surprise him. But it does anger him. His eyes glow blue again as he glares after the salespeople, but they are, for their luck, gone.

"Alright. You let me know how if it helps. I am willing to help. This place fucks with us all sooner or later." He glanced around, and spotted a bench nearby.

"Do you want to sit?" he felt like maybe that would make it easier, but she was the one feeling the effects, and he did not want to exacerbate them.
