The glow of his eyes doesn't go unnoticed, and perhaps she'll ask about it later. But right now, the voice in the back of her mind is finally quieting now that she's holding his hand. She hates it.

The thought of sitting really didn't make her feel any more or less comfortable- but it was worth a shot. "I guess?"

She looks over at the bench he caught sight of, having followed his gaze, and nods. "It can't hurt. Just..." she takes a deep breath and sighs. "Thank you. For understand and all with this bullshit."

It's definitely not the first impression she wants to make with anyone, but apparently this place has other plans for her.
