ask me about x

The phrasing on Rise's shirt is what grabs Dorian's attention. My real self? Well, he's certainly glad he doesn't have that one. Though admittedly, Dorian's shirt isn't much better. Ask me about my textbook narcissism! That's a conversation guaranteed to go south.

Still, he affixes a mostly fake smile on his face as he walks over to Rise. That phrasing is interesting and he wants to learn more. "Dorian," he answers, giving her a little wave. "And may I just say, thank God there's someone else here who's shirt is annoyingly vague. I've seen at least three people here with shirts as direct as 'ask me about my siblings' and yet we get stuck with some vague statements that might take a while to answer."

Said as he gestures from Rise's shirt to his shirt. Granted, 'ask me about my textbook narcissism' isn't vague exactly, but in Dorian's mind it's certainly a lot harder for someone to answer then talking about their daddy issues or something cliche like that.
