There's about to be a brief moment of cross-culture confusion as the very English Dorian frowns a little at Rise's description of an idol. As she continues talking, the confusion clears up a bit and his expression shifts to a more neutral one.
"So by 'idol' you mean a pop idol?" he asks. Despite the question, Dorian has a pretty strong feeling that's what Rise means and continues the conversation with the assumption that he's right.
"I assume they'd want you to talk about it because it's interesting. I used to be in a band when I was younger," says the man who looks like he's in his early 20s at the most, "but we were a one-hit wonder at best. Certainly nowhere near your level of stardom."
