“You’re not among those dead, are you?” Galo asks. Neither of them seem the kind of people to shy away from anything. He grins back at him. “And yeah, I guess it’s sort of like I’m helping heal them. We make sure they got the best fighting chance to survive.”

Another bright sunny grin graces his face. “It can seem like a lot but when you’re on the scene everything goes fast.” He looks ahead for a moment and sighs, “It can feel like we’re just not doing enough.” Galo waves a hand in a gesture to the whole city. “It’s got good and bad, but it’s work that’s always worth doing!” Galo says as he clenched the hand he waved with into a fist.
