[It is appreciated, even if it is a bit of an odd subject to be speaking to Obi-Wan about. There is also the issue that it hasn't really sunk in as well as it should. Yes, she understands what is being said, but there is still that mentality of returning home, if not today, then tomorrow, or perhaps the next. She's never been truly stuck anywhere for any length of time, as there had always been a means to depart, it may have just taken time, or rescue.
But it does seem that this place does have sex on the mind, a lot.]
I had wondered after it, as it seemed like your Padawan braid.
[They'd all been much younger then, the first time that they had met. Yet she owes as much to Obi-Wan as she does to Anakin, and to Qui-Gon, who is still celebrated as a hero on Naboo for his role, and his sacrifice.]
So one must take great lengths to try to navigate their way through this place. It does make living seem rather hard.
[It's debatable whether she would actually prefer the attempts on her life over this, although others had suffered due to that, which has her balking at saying so. She would prefer not to see her friends and family hurt, and carry such a burden herself.
It's back towards him and upwards that her eyes travel as she feels his hand on hers. In some ways it is easier to have those here that she knows, even if she wouldn't wish it upon anyone. In another way, it sounds like they may find themselves in some awkward positions.
She gives a little squeeze back. In her heart of hearts, she knows that she had always liked the subterfuge when she had been queen, of switching roles and turning into nothingness.]
It won't be the first time, and I doubt it will be the last time, will it? We're all used to taking risks, even if they may not be of this nature. Thank you, Obi-Wan.
