He stands and the slip into matching his accent used to fluster him a bit, but now it's just endearing and welcome, both for the lack of hearing even a bit of his home-accent here and for it just being an Amnos thing.

If Amnos had been here when Chris had arrived or even in the months he'd waited to sign, Chris likely wouldn't have contracted with Festival at all.
