[ Poe wasn't oblivious to the kind of thing that tended to happen in the changing rooms, that would have been likely to happen even if he wasn't in a city like this, he's gotten caught up in more than a few impulsive moments in crew locker rooms himself. He's not shy about these things either, so he's not too concerned about strolling through to find a place to sit down to take off his skates, he's not here to spectate, but he's far from scandalized at catching on occasional eyeful. And he did notice the girl sitting further down along the bench, facing away from him — it would have been hard not to, that bright red hair is especially eye-catching, but she seems absorbed in her own thoughts, to the point where he's not sure she noticed him step in at all.

He sets to work getting his own skates off and his boots back on, and by the time he's accomplished that and glanced back over his shoulder he realizes the source of her distraction — a cup of the infamous hot chocolate in one hand, and the other obviously dipping in between her legs. He knows from very personal experience that it's hard, if not impossible, to work that off alone. He tried, it didn't exactly work.
She'd figure that out eventually on her own, maybe she already knows, but since he's sure he hasn't seen her around before it seems likely that she might be new, and maybe she's not used to these things yet. It won't hurt to find out, especially since he doesn't want to inadvertently become a voyeur when she's not into that. He starts by clearing his throat, hoping not to startle her. ]
