There are always such organizations. I've belonged to one for some decades now.
Humanity has risen, populated the earth, died out, been replaced by other beings, which were then replaced once more by humans, over and over again. Yahweh is no benevolent father. Nor are any of the other gods or monsters or things that have dabbled in creation since.
