"Alec. We don't need to get used to it, we need to get out of here, and get back home!" He didn't want to stay.

He saw the way Alec went still though. He knew his parabatai. That was the whole, trying to process face. "Apparently. Clary is from before I am. From the look on your face, yeah, so are you. It's fine, Alec. I swear. It's fine. We're fine."

He checked his network device again and showed Alec his room assignment. "I just want my stele, honestly. Okay, and clothes." He made a face. "Awesome. Living with Magnus again. At least this time it's not because I got kicked out of the Institute."
