"That's the one." Caliban said easily enough- the whisper easily picked up by his ears- though the demon did farrow his brow a tad at the amount of pain and worry in the others voice. Most mortals would be happy to see another one of their kind join him- at least in his experience. Granted most of his life was surrounded by demons and warlocks, so perhaps it coloured his judgement somewhat. There's a twinkle in his eyes as he moved backwards- Jace wasn't exactly a name he recognized but him and the others friends didn't exactly do much traditional talking. Did pillow talk count?
"I still think you might be Bright Eyes" he teased as he turned on his heel and fell back aside Jace as they walked towards the Down. "Jace it is, though." Caliban mummered lightly. The demon glancing over at the other for a moment before talked again.
"So I've always wondered- those runes. Did they hurt?" It's not something he'd ever actually asked Alec and what better time to find out?
