Jace eyed Caliban askance, pressing his teeth to his tongue to keep from blurting out about a billion questions at once. He let out a slow breath and contented himself with just one. "Is he alright?"

Jace made a face, but he didn't protest, he wasn't sure he was allowed, plus it seemed the guy was gonna respect his wishes and use his name, so he didn't really have anything to be protesting.
