"Makes sense you're still bumming other people's booze," she says wryly as she turns to approach the building again. She gives it a vaguely disappointed look, the corners of her mouth pulling down.

"It's so... cold," she says, then shakes her head and shoulders, like she's fighting off a shiver.

"And they gave it to me. I'm either going to redecorate the whole thing or move out as soon as possible. After I find myself a hustle or five first."

They step through the front door and head to the elevators. Maria still does not recognize that their pairing is something approved of and appreciated, though she does notice that she feels less watched the second they're in the lift.

"You moved your Airstream to the Pony," she says, unable to help a warm little smile at the memory. "For a little while, anyway. I'd rather be back there, too."
