It hasn't been that long for her, but she clings to him all the same. It's for her own comfort, of course, but also, she knows, for him. She cannot imagine what it's like to be on the other side of this, to go through this hell and not know what's going on with certain people, to have them trickle in randomly and then, potentially, have them disappear. She wants to be there for him and so she does not press to move onto talking, but revels in her friend's embrace.
He pulls back and Maria lets her hands slide to his face, cradling it lightly as she looks up at him.
"All the requirements and bullshit. You, Liz, Kyle, him. Max was here but now he's gone. He told me a lot but there is a lot and my head's swimming and..."
She sighs softly and now rests her hands on his chest. "He told me you're with a Dominant guy named Bass?" She tries to frame it as a gentle tease, even though some part of her is so confused and taken by surprise by that particular revelation. She's going to have to meet him, but in the meanwhile... "You're going to have to tell me about him yourself."
