He moves to step closer and her heart skips a beat. It's a terrible thing to still be attracted to him, to still want him even though she's said she wants to cut it off. Because there's no space for her here. She can see that plain as anything. She cannot take a break from Michael Guerin (from anyone) in Duplicity and not go insane in the process. Can she? It doesn't feel like it right now. It feels like she needs them, all of them, but maybe Michael especially.
She glances away and down for a brief moment before she looks up at him again, decision considered and made in a heartbeat.
