Her brows knit together a bit at his reply, but more of a faint look of lack of understanding versus straight disbelief. She'd heard of stars, of course, and she'd heard of ships... but the combination of the two words is certainly new to her, a woman from a time where planes were just about to be invented within the next few years.

"A starship... I'm 'fraid I don't know what that is." But she could acknowledge a Captain! It was only right to use one's title when offered, so she makes a mental note to keep that in mind for the future. "But to be a Captain! That's mighty impressive."
