( nick tries to avoid being down here when he can, honestly. he's just not much of a fighter, and crime is what it is in the down, and it just seems smarter to try and stay out of trouble. that hasn't apparently worked out for him today though, and he's hovering near the mouth of an alley when he crosses paths with gene.
