"...Huh." He noises this and turns back around, facing the seat in front of him with a mild frown. He has something to think about now, and he's not sure what to do with it. He's always been on the hunt to discover other people like him, who had abilities but were human. But now that he's faced with the possibility-- no, actual fact, he's a little unsure how to proceed.

"I was never, uh.... open." It's a sideways admission, but the best that he can do, frowning now at his hands as he waits to see what kind of reaction he gets.

Probably confusion. Abruptly, his ability to speak clearly and cleverly has escaped him.
