Yeah, Duplicity isn’t Liz’s favorite place in the world, but Mendacity is like a second home to her. She feels her anger rise a little at his comment, but keeps it in check. God only know what he’d do to her if she gets as mouthy as she gets with some of the real assholes.

She feels a little ridiculous, sporting a one shouldered top that’s supposed to be a long-sleeved t-shirt and a skirt that has little holes burned into it from the bizarre rainwater. Liz is usually one of the better-dressed bartenders, but not today. Hopefully she won’t get too many funny looks.

Walking behind the bar, she decides to fix an Old Fashioned. It’s her best cocktail. She makes it with their best whiskey, the kind she usually saves for the owner, Seth, and garnishes it with a perfect little orange peel. It looks like a work of art by the time she’s done with it. Liz walks it over to Kilgrave’s table and sets it in front of him.

“Here you are. Top shelf.”
