She thinks her personality might be grating to most people. She definitely feels like she's annoyed if not all then most of the Warrior Sisters, who are the closest thing to friends she has.)
What had happened Archie to change his mind about being alone? Maybe one day she'll find out when they've known each other longer, but it just seems nosy to ask something so personal when they just met.

Thankfully, Ava notices the mention of Archie's dad makes him tense up a little. Rather than let him dwell on that feeling, she'll distract him with her enthusiasm to answer his question. ]

But it didn't work out. [ She shrugs, trying to act casual about it. ] I don't think I'm destined to get the hot guy in the end. [ Of course she isn't. Her destiny is far greater than that. ]
If you ever make it back to Riverdale, you should find a girl and run away with her. Girls are into that. [ She manages a joke with a smile before belatedly adding: ] Or a dude. I'm sure dudes are into that, too.
