A lot could happen right here and now. There's curiosity in the way his hand slips down from Albert's neck to follow the curve of his back down, pressing against him like it would be possible to properly learn the shape of him through his clothes. That curiosity turns to insistence when the hand reaches the small of his back and urges him closer, like they could even get much closer at this point.

Arthur doesn't mean anything by it, really. He doesn't intend for this to get any further than a kiss, for many reasons. And he isn't young and impulsive anymore, so even though he could get his hands beneath those clothes with a little bit more effort, could rock his hips to create friction and see what sounds Albert might make, he doesn't. Instead, he pulls back, leans in again for another brief kiss, then finally breaks away fully.
