"In fairness if anyone's up for that it is me," he says, trying to sound flippant and teasing though it's a bit disconcerting. Not just the blindness, but that there's people that know him this well he has never known. He supposes he'll get used to it soon enough but for now it's still something he's having to adjust to.

He takes that grip, glad for it because it's a place he's not used to, and it really is taking a lot to adjust to it. Not even counting the madness about this place but just new lands.

Realizing he caught him off guard but with Jason having just disappeared after Bruce sent him to Dick, he can't help but thinking that.

"You knew that signal, and you know me that well, so it was that or you're the next person I take in for my team." Which was fifty fifty in his mind. He had really been hoping he was wrong.

"He never does wait long for our beds to get cold before he moves on, does he?" He'd learned that with Jason, and he shouldn't be surprised that it could well happen again in his world.
